Eliza Swann

Eliza Swann is executive vice president and Chief of Operations at UPMC Enterprises. She previously served as senior associate counsel and vice president for the UPMC Enterprises division.

Prior to joining UPMC, Eliza was a partner in the mergers and acquisitions practice group at Shearman & Sterling, LLP, in New York, where she focused on U.S. and cross-border transactional work, including acquisitions and dispositions of publicly and privately held corporations and their assets. Eliza has extensive experience with a broad range of general business transactions, including joint ventures, license and supply arrangements, collaboration arrangements, minority and control investments, and general commercial contracts.

Eliza received her law degree from Cornell Law School and clerked for the Honorable E. Norman Veasey, Chief Justice of the Delaware Supreme Court. She received her undergraduate degree from Williams College. Eliza was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
