Sara Fest

Sara Fest is the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications at UPMC Enterprises and the Executive Director of the Center for Connected Medicine at UPMC. As a senior member of UPMC’s corporate marketing team, Sara and her team are responsible for promoting UPMC Enterprises as a leading innovation, commercialization, and venture capital partner in health care.

Sara joined UPMC in 2012 to lead marketing efforts for the commercial entities in the International and Commercial Services Division. She then worked for several years as the Director of Partner Relations at the Center for Connected Medicine which has evolved into a high-quality thought leadership forum for executives in health care and IT. Prior to joining UPMC, Sara worked for a non-profit in Washington, DC, then spent six years with Kontron, a global leader in IoT and embedded computing technology headquartered in Germany. She held various marketing roles as well as overseeing global product launches and strategic hardware partnerships.

Sara holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio as well as a master’s degree in Public Communications and Public Relations from the University of Westminster in London, England.
