In an effort to further support our communities, UPMC Enterprises has created a Volunteer Opportunity Program. Employees are empowered to organize and coordinate volunteer opportunities as a group at organizations that are meaningful to them.
What’s the best way to get started? Email the Enterprises Culture inbox at EnterprisesCulture@upmc.edu and a request form will be sent back asking for details on your proposed volunteer opportunity. Once approved, a toolkit will be sent to assist you with recruiting and communicating to other Enterprises team members. Enterprises will work with the UPMC Center for Engagement and Inclusion to help you get everything set up for your group. Please keep in mind that you and your manager are responsible for keeping track of individual volunteer hours on an annual basis.
If you’re interested in volunteering, but don’t have a specific organization in mind, be sure to keep an eye out for our monthly Lend a Hand emails. These emails feature upcoming volunteer opportunities across all of UPMC that you can attend.
