Female leadership in health care and technology to be highlighted in panel discussion

Created by a group of women at UPMC Enterprises, FLIGHT – Female Leadership, Innovation, and Growth in Healthcare & Technology – is a health care and technology focused forum for women, intended to create mentorship and networking opportunities, as well as highlight successful female leaders both inside and outside of UPMC.

FLIGHT, which hopes to create opportunities for professional development and mentorship, cultivate the growth of talented women, and increase engagement of women within the organization, will host a panel discussion this month highlighting leaders from across UPMC.

FLIGHT’s inaugural event will be held on June 14 from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. at UPMC Enterprises. The event will be a panel discussion with female leaders across UPMC, including:

  • Diane Holder – President & CEO of UPMC Health Plan
  • Jeanne Cunicelli – Executive Vice President at UPMC Enterprises
  • Ann Evans – Chief Financial Officer of UPMC’s Physician Services Division
  • Alissa Meade – President & CEO at Curavi Health

The panelists will share stories about their journeys to leadership from a female perspective, including the importance of career support, tips on how to develop as a leader, and how to navigate the challenges that can arise during these times. Following the panel discussion and Q&A will be a networking reception with light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

All employees of UPMC Enterprises are invited and encouraged to attend. Please register here.
