Pittsburgh Business Times – UPMC is partnering with a data analysis firm to offer a new product to look at costs and efficiencies in health care. The deal between UPMC and Health Catalyst, a Salt Lake City-based analytics company, involves the commercialization of the product, which will take the cost-management system developed at UPMC and bring it to a wider use.
