Digital Health Tools and the ‘New Normal’

Webinar will feature experts from UPMC Enterprises, Xealth, Abridge, and Providence talking about leveraging digital tools as clinical services expand

The Center for Connected Medicine (CCM) is hosting a webinar, “Digital Health Tools and the ‘New Normal,’” on July 23. The program is focused on how digital health tools and a fortified digital patient experience are helping health systems forge a “new normal” – one that more seamlessly integrates digital health and telemedicine – in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar features experts from UPMC Enterprises and two of its portfolio companies, as well as Providence health system. The CCM, which connects and inspires leaders and innovators who want to advance health care, is supported by UPMC and Nokia.

Gretchen Mendoza, Senior Director of Product Management at UPMC Enterprises, will moderate the discussion with the following experts:

• Sara Vaezy, Chief Digital Strategy & Business Development Officer at Providence
• Shiv Rao, MD, CEO and Co-Founder at Abridge

The webinar will cover the digital tools that are proving most instrumental in supporting health systems as they expand beyond essential care to important non-emergency needs and preventive care; how the pandemic has influenced innovation priorities at health systems; and what the COVID-19 pandemic illuminated about the future of the digital patient experience.
