Mary Beth Navarra-Sirio, Vice President of Market Development at UPMC Enterprises, was a featured speaker at HLTH, highlighting the importance of key performance indicators when evaluating the impact of digital health tools and the role of partnerships with digital health startups.
Narrava-Sirio spoke on two panels HLTH, a premiere event focused on health care and wellness innovation that took place in Las Vegas, Oct. 20-23. Her two featured speaking opportunities were:
- “ROI in the Fast Lane” on Sunday, Oct. 20, in collaboration with the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) Partner Program.
- “Triple Threat Investors” on Tuesday, Oct. 22.
ROI in the Fast Lane
Navarra-Sirio’s first panel, “ROI in the Fast Lane,” was part of the “Better Health Powered by Digital Innovation: V1C, AI, and Beyond” Partner Program presented by DiMe.
The panel also included experts from Verily, Highmark Health, and Advocate Health and the discussion focused on key metrics that drive value across digital health organizations.
Narrava-Sirio emphasized the importance of sharing ROI data from digital health investments across various stakeholder groups and noted key performance indicators used to understand the impact of digital health tools.
Triple Threat Investors
Navarra-Sirio’s second panel, “Triple Threat Investors,” focused on how venture investors are actively engaging with their portfolio companies, moving beyond funding to also establishing a hands-on partnership approach.
She joined experts from Redesign Health, Aegis Ventures, CVS Health, and .406 Ventures for a broad discussion around the need for long-term impact of digital solutions and the realization that health care’s complex challenges require more than just capital.

- Jannine Versi, CEO and Co-Founder of Elektra, was onsite connecting with attendees to discuss Elektra’s mission of smashing the menopause taboo.
- Xealth
- Cynthia Church, Chief Strategy Office of Xealth, spoke on a panel titled “Future x3 of Health Tech Summit: A 15 Year Outlook on Health Tech’s Future.”
