Julia Bennett

Julia Bennett is the Senior Director of Human Resources at UPMC Enterprises.

Prior to joining UPMC Enterprises in 2023, Julia worked in hotel operations for more than 20 years. Her previous roles include serving as a General Manager in Doubletree Hotels and holding HR leadership roles in four-star resorts and large conference centers in 13 cities across the United States.

Julia moved back to her hometown of Pittsburgh in 2016 to work at the Wyndham Pittsburgh University Center. In 2019, she was promoted to Corporate Director Human Resources, and again in 2021 to Senior Director Human Resources. In those roles, she was responsible for supporting HR functions of hotels across the U.S. She is well-versed in multi-state jurisdiction & employment law.

Julia attended The Ohio State University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management. She holds both PHR certification from the HRCI and SHRM-CP from the Society of Human Resources Management.
