Chris Katz is Vice President of consumer digital strategy and operations. In his current role, Chris is responsible for product strategy and digital transformation efforts within UPMC’s patient-facing technology portfolio. Chris partners with UPMC leadership to successfully identify, develop, and scale innovative, patient-facing solutions across the system.
Before joining UPMC, Chris worked in corporate strategy at The Advisory Board Company in Washington DC. His work included new product development and M&A strategy for the company’s technology division. Prior to that, Chris worked in management consulting for a life sciences consulting firm and a technology strategy consulting firm.
Chris holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgetown University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Economics from Tufts University.
