The Pittsburgh Health Data Alliance represents an unprecedented collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University, The University of Pittsburgh, and UPMC.

Together, UPMC, Carnegie Mellon University (CMU), and the University of Pittsburgh have aligned to apply their unique skills to make real-life impacts for patients through data mining and researcher and practitioner support. Using world-class computer science expertise from CMU, medical research experts from University of Pittsburgh, and UPMC’s deep data, clinical settings, and a positive record of successful commercialization, PHDA is helping to positively change the practice of medicine.
