Vivify Health was recently awarded a 2018 North America Product Line Strategy Leadership Award by Frost & Sullivan for its range of remote patient monitoring solutions. The company noted that the enormous value of data coming from its monitoring devices position Vivify to become a leader in evidence-based care coordination and population management.


Vivify Health CEO Eric Rock shared his thoughts on the opioid crisis and his reaction to a new health act in this piece from Becker’s Hospital Review. Rock was featured alongside quotes from eight other industry professionals.

Health Catalyst was included in a Modern Healthcare story focused on the impacts of social determinants in health. The company was quoted regarding its partnerships with health systems, including UPMC, and how these partnerships have helped foster collaboration regarding health data.


Healthcare IT News profiled the work done to combine Health Quest’s homegrown enterprise data warehouse with Health Catalyst. The company’s goal is to streamline operations to achieve a “Triple Aim” of improving the patient experience of care, improving the health of populations, and reducing the per capita cost of health care.


Gallup recently published a report highlighting 39 companies dedicated to creating a culture of engagement in the workplace. Among those companies was Health Catalyst, an organization that realizes exceptional performance by creating an outstanding workplace culture, according to Gallup.


Smart Business Pittsburgh released an “unscientific list” of Pittsburgh startup and tech companies to watch. This year’s list included ALung Technologies, a UPMC portfolio company. The story notes that ALung recently closed $36 million in financing to develop its artificial lung technology.
