Q: What is your proudest accomplishment at Enterprises to date?

I’m most proud of the work that we did on the Safar application that we sold to eVisit because it was a product that embodied what drew me to working in health care — the potential to impact patients’ lives through technology.

Q: What was your dream job as a kid?

I wanted to be a film director when I was young, and a paleontologist when I was even younger.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment at Enterprises to date?

I have a couple things that I am proud of while working at UPMC. The first is being part of the Safar project from the ground up. I was there from the beginning during COVID getting the application off the ground and was able to see it through to the acquisition with eVisit. The second is how much I’ve learned from my co-workers at UPMC Enterprises. There has always been a number of very talented engineers here, and I’ve grown a lot from the knowledge that they’ve shared with me.

Q: What was your dream job as a kid?

Growing up I always wanted to be an astronaut.

This past year, I was able to leverage skills I honed during my PhD to approach strategic analytics from a new angle at UPMC Enterprises, securing leadership buy-in and supporting a major partnership decision.

Q: What was your dream job as a kid?

Growing up, I wanted to become an astronaut. I loved staying up late with my dad to watch meteor showers together.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment at Enterprises to date?

My proudest accomplishment has been contributing to investments that move meaningful technologies forward. I’ve learned so much by working alongside an incredibly smart, talented team to identify opportunities through market landscapes and prepared-mind thinking, support rigorous diligence, and continue helping our portfolio companies grow.

Q: What was your dream job as a kid?

My dream job as a kid was to be an astronaut. I’ve always been drawn to exploration and discovery, which still shows up in how I approach my work today.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment at Enterprises to date?

One of my proudest moments was working on our investment in Ouro Medicines. I got to dive deep into a completely new class of medicines, evaluate the science and opportunity, and ultimately help make the case why we should invest – which we did. It felt especially meaningful because the company is pursuing diseases that disproportionately affect women which also aligned with my passion for women’s health.

Q: What was your dream job as a kid?

Growing up, my dream was to be a doctor! Even though life took me down a different and more exciting path, I still get to work with some of the smartest doctors in the country, which feels pretty special.

Leading the reimplementation of Dynamics has been my proudest accomplishment at UPMC Enterprises so far. The project spanned multiple years from initial evaluation through nearly a year of execution and required significant cross-team collaboration to deliver meaningful improvements. I am eager to continue enhancing the platform to bring value and insights that best support work across Enterprises.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment at Enterprises to date?

It’s hard to focus on one accomplishment over the years, but I’ve always prided myself on relationship building and know that has contributed in countless ways to my work since starting here. With an organization as large as UPMC, it’s truly amazing who we have around us and the network you can build, even with people you don’t work with directly. This has not only helped me to build a great team, but I know it has played a role in types of opportunities I’ve been given over the years.

Q: What was your dream job as a kid?

Probably being the point guard for the Phoenix Suns! But along those lines, I was a kid on the go and originally thought I would enjoy a career somewhere in the field of PT/sports med/athletic training. I suppose I’m at the right company, just doing something a bit different now.
