PTO Blood Donation Program
For 2024 Blood Bank PTO Program participants, the PTO hours earned were added to your PTO balance effective Sunday, Aug. 11 and will be available in Kronos, and viewable on the PTO Summary on Friday, Aug. 30.
Annual Mandatories
All employees are required to complete mandatory education between Sunday, Sept. 1, and Thursday, Oct. 31, annually. UPMC staff are automatically assigned and must complete mandatory education within Learning on HR Direct. Non-UPMC staff will access mandatory education on UPMC.com.
Self-Identify Military/Veteran Status
In preparation for Veterans Day, we want to ensure we recognize and honor our employees for their military service, both past and present. A checkbox in the self-identification section within HR Direct must be selected for staff members to be recognized for their military service.
To self-identify your status, navigate to HR Direct > Personal Information > Personal Details > Demographic Information. UPMC appreciates those who serve and have served.
