Thank you to everyone who organized and supported our 2024 Halloween Fundraiser event! Our efforts raised approximately $1,600 for the Western Pennsylvania School for Blind Children.
Four departments decorated their workspaces with a special twist – focus their decorations on the senses beyond sight (touch, taste, smell, and sound). Technology Services won the decorating contest with their “Spooky Sensory Jungle” and awesome animal costumes!
Digital Solutions hosted a “Haunted BOOk Club.”
Operations sailed high with a “Pirates of the Caribbean” theme.
Marketing let loose in a “Mad Science Lab.”
Sky the Taco was the winner of the pet costume contest!
Brian Rowe was the winner of the individual costume contest for his impressive “TikTok meme” display!
Committee members sold tickets to vote for department decor and costumes, and a variety of delicious bake sale treats.
Dr. Heidi Ondeck, WPSBC Executive Director and Superintendent, was extremely grateful for all of the funds raised for the school and said that the Halloween event was incredibly thoughtful and well done.
We are already looking forward to next year’s event! 🎃
