UPMC Enterprises FLIGHT team launches Mentorship Program

The purpose of the program is to establish a mentorship relationship that will benefit both mentees and mentors as well as enable UPMC Enterprises to support career and skill growth.

UPMC Enterprises FLIGHT (Female Leadership, Innovation, and Growth in Healthcare & Technology) group recently launched a Mentorship Program aimed at engaging and supporting emerging women leaders within UPMC Enterprises. By connecting mentors and mentees with both shared and unique expertise and experiences, the Mentorship Program aims to create opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and impact.

Mentors and mentees will have the opportunity to experience benefits from collaborative learning, help build professional relationships and leadership skills, and learn about other areas within UPMC Enterprises not directly tied to their work. Focusing on the UPMC Enterprises guiding principles (Collaborative, Disruptive, Curious, Customer-Centered, Accountable, Intense), the Mentorship Program is sure to be a rewarding experience for all involved.

The pilot program will conclude in December, and the next mentorship class is slated to begin another six-month session during the Spring of 2020, with participants selected from FLIGHT event attendee lists.
