UPMC Enterprises is proud to announce a partnership and licensing agreement with Clearsense, a technology company that partners with health care organizations to drive more value from their data. The agreement will allow Clearsense to integrate with Alexandria Charts, a platform developed by UPMC Enterprises as an end-to-end unstructured data solution.
Patient data often gets stuck in unstructured clinical notes, and sorting through it can be costly and time-consuming for payors and providers. To solve this problem, the experts at UPMC Enterprises developed the Alexandria Charts platform that has been in use for over a decade at UPMC and UPMC Health Plan.

For companies like Clearsense, a pre-built platform allows their teams to focus on growing their actual applications and business rather than a time-consuming and costly infrastructure build-out. By partnering with UPMC Enterprises, Clearsense will collaborate with the team of engineers and health care experts at UPMC to seamlessly integrate Alexandria Charts with the secure and scalable Clearsense data platform.
The integration of the two technologies will allow health care systems from around the country to enhance and expand the data they are able to mine from patient records to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of care to positively impact patient outcomes.
