UPMC Enterprises Blood Drives
Did you know that UPMC Enterprises organizes four blood drives a year? We collaborate with Bakery Square and building tenants to host public blood drive events to encourage donations. Since resuming the in-person blood drives in July 2023, there have been five blood drives, three in 2024.
The next blood drive will be held:
Thursday, Nov. 14, from 8:30 am to 1 pm
Bakery Square Office Building #3, Floor 3
To schedule your appointment, go to vitalant.org and search with Account Code UT152.
And as a part of UPMC, employees can earn PTO when you donate blood.
In total, 131 donations have been made in the past year and a half! Each donation of blood can help up to three patients, meaning these donations have helped up to 393 people. There is no artificial substitute for blood, so your donation makes a big difference! Thank you for doing what you can for those in need.
