How did you get into the industry?
I fell into health care tech accidentally after helping launch + sell a few startups when a friend of mine pulled me into a Pittsburgh company called M*Modal. While there, I helped scale and grow their core clinical speech recognition product, Fluency Direct, to its acquisition by 3M in 2019.
I then left health care and quickly realized my mistake, moving to a social determinant of health company called Healthify through its acquisition by Wellsky a few months ago.
Do you have an unusual talent or hobby?
I am a professionally trained opera singer.

I am now a trustee of Awesome Pittsburgh, which gives away $1000 (no-strings-attached) grants every month for any idea that makes Pittsburgh a more awesome place to live! If you or someone you know has an awesome idea, please talk to me or just apply!
