Creating health’s future
UPMC Enterprises sponsored the 2019 HLTH conference, October 27-30, in Las Vegas, Nevada. HLTH is a national conference aimed at bringing together senior leaders from across payers, providers, employers, investors, fast-growing startups, pharma, policymakers, and innovation centers to discuss the future of health care.
At the conference, UPMC Enterprises joined the speaker line up and had a booth with various portfolio companies and partners.
The booth consisted of portfolio companies Abridge, Health Catalyst, Health Fidelity, and Xealth along with Abstraction Genie and the PHDA.
Brent Burns, EVP, UPMC Enterprises, spoke on a panel called “The Strategics” alongside other industry players who successfully set up strategic investment arms to become active participants in health innovation.
