UPMC launches new company, Cavulus adds a new client, and more portfolio company news

ALung was recently given the ok by an independent Data and Safety Monitoring board in the U.S. to continue its clinical trial, UPMC announced the launch of a new telemedicine company aimed at treating infectious diseases remotely, and Oscar Health signed on with Cavulus to help launch its Medicare Advantage Programs. ALung was recently awarded approval from an independent Data and Safety Monitoring board to continue its U.S.-based VENT-AVOID clinical trial. This approval, without modification, is a significant milestone for the company as it gets closer to its goal of providing a new tool to treat acute respiratory failure.

Through the entire suite of cloud-based software, Oscar Health will be able to streamline member acquisition and enrollment management, and benefit from solutions for marketing, sales management, and administrative tasks.
