NGI team wins Star Award at Centricity Live

Fresh off a go-live at a UPMC hospital this year, the NGI team was recognized along with UPMC by GE Healthcare during the company’s annual Centricity Live event.

Centricity Live, which was held in Las Vegas in May, is the user conference for GE Healthcare Digital. As part of the event, GE gives the Star Award to customers who demonstrate success in using Centricity solutions to help improve outcomes in their organization.

In selecting UPMC for a 2018 Star Award, GE also recognized the NGI technology development program and the positive ways the program has impacted clinicians and patients.

“Congratulations to all of us! This is well-deserved recognition for our hard work and perseverance,” said Stacy Norman, senior product manager for NGI.

The NGI team – operating under a joint development agreement between UPMC and GE Healthcare – marked the first hospital go-live of its imaging platform in early 2018 with the rollout at UPMC Jameson.
