Friendly faces, an awesome office space, and now brand-new swag! This is what new hires at UPMC Enterprises will be greeted with on their first day on the job.
As a part of an ongoing Talent Transformation initiative taking place at Enterprises, we used this as an opportunity to take a deeper look at our onboarding process, including re-examining the gift bags that new hires previously received on their first day.
Starting in June, we replaced the gift bag with a new hire welcome kit, equipped with a personalized welcome card, notebook, hat, and more! The welcome kit will also introduce new hires to our Guiding Principles with the inclusion of magnets and Shout-Aht pads.
“We want new hires to get a taste of our culture from the very beginning – and a warm welcome and some fun new swag is a great place to start,” said Amy Cook, Chief Talent Leader at UPMC Enterprises.
