HIMSS Western Pennsylvania Chapter will host an event this month featuring a UPMC Enterprises speaker at the Center for Connected Medicine (CCM).
Rasu Shrestha, MD, MBA, chief innovation officer of UPMC and executive vice president at UPMC Enterprises, will discuss innovation in health care technology and provide a demonstration of technology at the CCM.
Dr. Shrestha will be introduced by Richard Wojtaseski, ISD Director of UPMC Enterprise Service Operations and a member of the HIMSS chapter board.
The HIMSS event is 5-8 p.m. May 16. Register online to attend.
The CCM is as a thought leadership incubator and content hub within UPMC’s headquarters in the U.S. Steel Tower that is jointly operated by GE Healthcare, IBM, Lenovo Health, Nokia, and UPMC.
