How did you get into the industry? I got into pharmacy by chance, luck, fate. I was fresh and young with no experience and no career goals. Just trying to find my way in life, or at least get started. I applied at CVS to be a store cashier. The pharmacy intercepted my application and offered to train me. From there, I pursued national certification independently and forged my own path, traveling through hospital, insurance, discharge medication programs, and now here. It’s been such a journey and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Do you have any kids? Any pets? This is a picture of my girls. Baby is the little, fluffy one and Shine is the big, sleek one. We lost Baby almost three years ago but they are my version of children.
If any musician or band could give you a personal concert, who would it be? Hozier! I identify with every song he sings, and I find his sound transcendent.

How did you get into the industry? I studied mechanical engineering for two years in college, and took a programming class one semester. I loved it and wanted to build iOS apps, so I switched my major to computer science. Now I am here at UPMC Enterprises working on the MyUPMC iOS App. Crazy how life works out sometimes.
What’s your perfect meal? Gyros.
What’s your favorite quote from a movie or TV series? Anything from older Adam Sandler movies (Big Daddy, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison.)

Are you a Pittsburgh local or did you grow up elsewhere? I grew up in Bethel Park and went to Penn State University. I have recently lived around Robinson.
Free space: Share any fun fact! I have ridden an elephant up to Amer Fort in Jaipur, India. I was in the audience at The Ellen Show during Season 9 in 2012. The guests were Kate Beckinsale and Taylor Kitsch. I have been to bars with a few startup founders, including Drew Houston, CEO of Dropbox, and Steve Huffman, CEO of Reddit.
