Good Morning America filmed a segment featuring newborns at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital dressed as grasshoppers to celebrate leap year.
The Center for Connected Medicine’s Senior Partnership and Promotions Specialist, Jamie Saporito, spent leap year at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital with her brand-new baby boy. During their stay, a very talented nurse crocheted tiny grasshopper hats for each newborn, a gesture that was inspired by the special day and a special local family.
