(NYSE: GE), partnered in 2008 to create Omnyx, a company with the goal of creating the first digital pathology system approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for clinical use, which could potentially bring cancer diagnosis into the 21st Century. Now, seven years later, they may be getting closer.
